Bridgeview offers a pleasant blend of residential, commercial and industrial development. It is blessed with a mix of old and new homes, an active rail center, and a productive industrial park district. Bridgeview is near the center of Chicago land's expanding housing and retail markets.

The Village of Bridgeveiw has a population of 15,335 people, 5,631 households, and 3,812 families. It is located just south of 65th Street and north of 103rd Street. The community is bounded on the west by the communities of Justice and Hickory Hills and on the east by Bedford Park, Burbank, and Oak Lawn. Access to the Tri-State Tollway occurs at 95th Street and I-55 at 52nd Street. Currently the Village has a total of five schools that students can attend, 2 of them being private institutions. For recreation the village has 70 acres of park land that is available to all residents and visitors. The park land features 6 baseball/softball fields, 3 tennis courts, 6 jogging paths, 6 playgrounds, 1 outdoor pool, 1 outdoor skating rink, and 1 indoor skating rink. The Village has a very balanced bled of individuals. We are always looking for new ways to improve. One of the newest developments is the new Bridgeview Stadium built and funded by the Village of Bridgeveiw with help of Mayor Landek and other Village officials. The stadium will be home to the Chicago Fire Professional Soccer Team starting in 2006 and will hold many concert events. It will seat 20,000 + Fans at a cost of approximately $70 million dollars to develop it will be a great addition to the community and the growth of the Bridgeveiw as a whole. It will one day be the central hub to most or all of Bridgeveiws entertainment.

Lets not forget about the Bridgeview Sports Dome it is a comfortable climate-controlled sports arena. The dome boasts a double-deck 46-tee driving range measuring 80 yards long, plus free chipping and putting greens. The dome can also be reserved for indoor soccer, softball, and football practices.
