The Bridgeview Fire Department is a full time department providing fire, rescue, and ambulance services on a 24 hour basis to the residents of the village.
The fire department has an Insurance Service Office protection rating of 4. ISO rates the fire protection service provided to local communities. The ratings are from 1 - 10, with 1 being the best. Currently, there are only 5 ISO class 1 departments in Illinois. The Bridgeview Fire Department continually strives to improve our ISO rating.
Fire department services are provided from 2 strategically located fire stations located in our village.
The department currently employs 1 Fire Chief, 3 Battalion Chiefs, and 35 firefighter/ EMT's. This allows the fire department to provide emergency medical response with all fire apparatus.
